Apside will be recording the first half of their debut album in September. The band will be secluded in Weed California for two weeks with producer Sylvia Massy (tool, system of the down, red hot chili peppers, johnny cash). The album out in January has no title yet. There will be a blog with pictures and hopefully video documenting the recording so stay tuned for updates. You can see apside live before they leave for Weed. The date will be announced this week.

We will be playing several shows in the bay area starting this wednesday April 18th at the Elbo Room with another fantastic band "People Noise". On May 6th we open for Mark Ford from the Black Crows at the Red Devil Lounge. Check out our myspace for the most updated show schedule. We have several new songs in the works that we are very proud of. Bruno has been helping us out on bass for the last 2 months. He will stick around until August or until we find a permanent member. So ........we are still looking for a bass player.

If you haven't seen us lately you have been missing out on a few new songs one of which Tina finally sings on! I hope to see you at one of our shows soon.

Apside welcomes 2006 with a new website beautifully executed by our dear friend Melissa at Melodic Art. I highly recommend her for any graphic art related work.

We have been quiet for the last few months but the Apside engine has been hard at work. Many new songs are in the making, and we are considering a few management agencies that are very interested in us. We wanted to thank all of our Brazilian friends that keep sending us messages and are local friends that keep coming to our shows and supporting us. The site will be updated soon with more home videos from our trip to Brazil and press releases that we are still gathering so keep visiting.
